Sens VR turns the book-object into a mental space. Arrows become architecture, the page becomes horizon.

A work on perceptual vertigo and the logic of the spatial puzzle.

VR exploration video game — 30 min. SENS VR is the first virtual reality game adapted from a graphic novel. Lost in a graphic maze, only the arrows are there to guide you. Where will they lead?

Adapted from Marc-Antoine Mathieu's work, the writing plays with the conventions of comics and, through virtual reality, widens the field of exploration into a narrative and sensory experience of its own.

In SENS VR you have to follow every clue you are given. Most of the time they are masked inside shapes that are hard to read, buried under sand or tucked into the corner of a graphic illusion. Sometimes you will see yourself appear at the edge of a sea of ice cracking under your feet. You will rush to fly over endless cities. Heading where? Nobody really knows — everyone has to find their own way…

Format: Oculus Rift or Quest 2 headset, 3 m² needed, standing or seated, one player.
